Non-dairy creamers or coffee whiteners are liquid or granular substances intended to substitute for milk or cream as an additive to coffee, tea, hot chocolate or other beverages. Dry granular products do not need to be refrigerated and can be used and stored in locations, which do not have a refrigerator.

Non-dairy creamers have several advantages over dairy-based creamers, including:

  • Longer Shelf-life
  • Ease of Storage & Handling
  • Lower Cost of Production
  • Free from Artificial Flavor and Color

Non-dairy creamers are used in a wide range of applications as under:

  • Coffee & Tea
  • Bakery Products
  • Ice Cream
  • Powder Drinks
  • Soup &Seasonings, Instant Cereals & Noodles

  • Manufacturing Process

  • The manufacturing process has the following steps:

    • Mixing of ingredients
    • Homogenization of mixture
    • Spray drying

When the batch has been mixed, the concentrate is homogenized and stored in a tank before Spray Drying. The homogenized concentrate is sprayed by using nozzles via a high-pressure pump.

Each ingredient in a non-dairy creamer formula has a characteristic function which, when combined, optimally assists in producing a superior non-dairy creamer.
